Our practice is proud to offer the most cutting-edge technologies to give our patients the best experience and most dramatic results possible. We are committed to continuing education, and we make full use of the latest innovations. When you come to our practice, you can be sure that you are getting the most advanced care with the latest technology. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes:

Sedation Dentistry

To alleviate pain and ensure our patients’ maximum comfort during oral treatment, our practice offers sedation dentistry. This involves a simple pill, taken orally. Although our patients are not unconscious under sedation, they are in a complete state of relaxation and do not feel pain. We will monitor you throughout the procedure to ensure your safety. In many cases, the sedation has an amnesiac effect on patients, and they remember little to nothing about their dental treatment. To find out if sedation dentistry is the best option for you, please contact us today.

Waterlase

The Waterlase is an amazing new tool that allows many dental procedures to be performed without the use of needles or drills. Combining the power of laser energy with atomized water, the Waterlase can remove hard and soft tissue quickly, effectively, and virtually painlessly. The Waterlase eliminates the heat and vibration that make drilling painful, while offering greater precision and accuracy. Among others, the Waterlase can be used to remove tooth decay, perform soft tissue procedures, remove enamel, prepare for cosmetic treatment, and remove diseased gum tissue. Most patients do not require anesthesia when being treated with the Waterlase. To learn more, please contact us today.

The Wand

For many patients, the fear and discomfort caused by needles is a genuine deterrent to regular dental treatment. Dr. Eder understands this concern and uses a computerized anesthesia delivery system called the Wand, which greatly minimizes or eliminates this discomfort. The Wand consists of a tiny needle attached to a pen-shaped device. The pen delivers a drop of anesthesia to numb the injection site before the needle ever touches the gum. More anesthesia continues to numb the area ahead of the needle as it is slowly inserted. There is never any sudden prick or burning from the flow of anesthesia, and most patients report feeling little to no sensation. To find out more about the Wand and other dental technology advances, please contact our office today.

Intraoral Camera

The intraoral camera is a revolutionary diagnostic dental tool allowing us to more clearly identify potential problems within the mouth early on. The tiny intraoral camera can be inserted into a patient's mouth, taking pictures of the teeth and displaying the images on a computer screen. Using the intraoral camera saves time and makes problems easily visible to both patient and doctor. Patients can view the areas we will be working on, making procedures more understandable. The accompanying software also provides clear and accurate data so the best treatment options can be selected. To learn more about the intraoral camera, please contact our office today.
